why is fullscreen geometry dash on macos trash

when playing geometry dash on macos in fullscreen the top part of
the window is hidden! so i can't see how much precent i'm in a
level or my fps (that stays 60 forever anyway...).

this is waaay to bad and makes me so mad that i play it in
windowed instead of fullscreen,

i think the notch confuses geometry to not scale well.
